Grenada Reaffirms Diplomatic Engagement with Mexico

WASHINGTON, D.C. – August 15, 2025 – Grenada has taken an important step in reaffirming and revitalizing its longstanding diplomatic relations with the United Mexican States.
On Friday, August 15, His Excellency Tarlie Francis, Ambassador-designate of Grenada to the United Mexican States, presented copies of his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Esteban Moctezuma, Ambassador of Mexico to the United States, during a formal ceremony at the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington, D.C.
The occasion was marked by cordial discussions on advancing cooperation in areas of mutual priority and underscored the enduring bonds of friendship between Grenada and Mexico. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1975, the two nations have enjoyed constructive engagement, and this latest step signals a renewed commitment to deepening that partnership.
