The Embassy of Grenada in Washington DC participated in The Embassy Chef Challenge organized by Events DC, the official convention, sports and entertainment authority for Washington DC.

The Embassy was represented by well known Grenadian culinary artist, psychotherapist and lifestyle expert Dr. Michaele C. Samuel.  Dr. Samuel presented Calypso Mango Shrimp Salad and Grenadian Gold Rum Punch. As the curtains came down on the evening, competing against 39 other Embassies, and serving over 800 guests, Dr. Samuel copped the 3rd Place People’s Choice Award.  We are so very proud and thankful to Dr. Samuel for representing Grenada at this special event.  Special thanks to Carlos and his team and to Grenada Distillers Ltd. for the support provided, in making this an awesome success for Grenada.
