“Anchored in Faith, Guided by Purpose”  

As we celebrate our nation’s 52nd Anniversary of Independence, I extend heartfelt greetings to every Grenadian at home and across our global diaspora. This year’s  

observance is especially meaningful as we reflect deeply on our national theme:  

“Anchored in Faith, Guided by Purpose.”  

Fifty-two years ago, Grenada stepped out confidently, firm in our convictions and rooted in the belief that we could chart our own destiny. Since that moment, our progress has been shaped by the courage, resilience, and unwavering faith of our people. Through challenges that have tested us and achievements that have uplifted us, the people of Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique have demonstrated what it truly means to be anchored in faith and guided by purpose.  

This theme speaks directly to our national character. Our faith has been the anchor that steadies us in times of uncertainty, while our purpose continues to propel us toward renewal, growth, and national development. Resilience is not just a trait we celebrate; it is the spirit that has carried us through adversity and inspired us to build a future worthy of generations yet to come.  

To our diaspora, your dedication and contributions remain invaluable. Whether strengthening our diplomacy, supporting our economy, or fostering global partnerships, you embody the purpose-driven commitment that uplifts our nation. Your enduring love for Grenada resonates across borders and continues to enrich our national story.  

As we look ahead, let us move forward together, united by our shared purpose and strengthened by our collective faith. Let us continue to uphold the values that define us: compassion, determination, and boundless potential.  

On this 52nd anniversary, may we honor our past, celebrate how far we have journeyed, and embrace with confidence the opportunities awaiting us.
